  13. Requirements: AWeb-II version 3.0 -Frames Needed-

  16. About:        An Arexx script that combines the current web site 
  17.               with the Universal Currency Converter web site (UCC).  
  18.               This script will take the current web page and output    
  19.               the page to disk, where it will be manipulated to        
  20.               inclose 2 frames, which will contain the UCC and the     
  21.               current site. This will allow you to see the current     
  22.               site which will have the foreign currency charges and    
  23.               we also allow you to use the UCC interactively.   
  24.                      
  25.               If you are already on a web site that has frames, this 
  26.               arexx script will ask you to which frame to put UCC in. 
  27.               Only 2 frame web sites will be allowed. Any site with 
  28.               more will not be allowed.

  30. Why?          I got tired of going to some internet sites around the
  31.               world which did not have the charge rates in my countries
  32.               currency. I am from the US, but I also deal with some
  33.               companies from Canada. 
  34.               UCC updates its rates once a day. It will not be exact.
  35.               Since all banks have different currency exchange rates,
  36.               but it will be pretty close. So don't blame me for any
  37.               inconsistancies in prices.                  
  38.               
  39. Installation:                                            
  40.               All files must be in a sub-directory called "UCC" in     
  41.               your "AWeb3:Plugins/" directory for everything to work.   
  42.               Otherwise you will have to change some of the code.
  43.               Path must be-- "AWeb3:Plugins/UCC/ucc.rexx" and files. 
  44.               If your AWeb assign is not "AWeb3:", then you must change
  45.               some code in the arexx script. It is at the beginning
  46.               of the file and it's also noted for you to find.  
  47.               
  48. AWeb SetUp:                                              
  49.               This script should be run from the menu of AWeb ver3.0   
  50.               Do the following:                                        
  51.               1. Select the menu item - Settings ... GUI settings...   
  52.               2. Select tab #2 -- "Arexx".                             
  53.               3. Press "Add". Give it a Title. Shortcut, optional.     
  54.               4. In the "Macro field insert the full path to the rexx  
  55.                  script. Example: "AWeb3:Plugins/UCC/ucc.rexx"         
  56.               
  57. Problems:                                                
  58.               Arexx is limited in the size of variables. So, when   
  59.               receiving html documents that are larger than 65,535-    
  60.               bytes will cause errors. Don't worry though, there    
  61.               are not many pages that large on the internet. :-)
